Sea Ray Introduces New SDX 250 and SDX 250 Outboard Models

The new SDX 250 and SDX 250 Outboard models from Sea Ray give sport boat owners the freedom to design their own boating experience. The SDX 250 and SDX 250 Outboard is spacious and versatile and it offers seating for up to 14 people, abundant storage, and an open layout to maximize space.

A hallmark of both SDX 250 models is its large bow and cockpit lounging floorplan with multiple convertible backrests. Throughout the SDX 250, ease of movement is paramount. Dedicated starboard transom access and a portside walkthrough to the bow allow passengers to move freely from one social zone to the next. Mid-cockpit, the port, and starboard seats convert to face forward or aft, for ergonomic comfort while underway, and natural socializing when at anchor.

A lounge area

For added comfort on long days, the SDX 250 features a spacious enclosed head compartment that can be transformed into a lounge area. This optional upgrade creates a cozy spot to get out of the sun or put the kids down for a nap.

At the helm, SmartCraft® instrumentation and a shift & throttle lever with trim switch make for effortless operation. As an upgrade, Digital Dash featuring Simrad® GPS/Chartplotter and VesselView® Link offer a state-of-the-art command experience. Quiet and smooth Mercury outboard power options are available up to 300 hp, providing excellent fuel efficiency, satisfying performance and ease of maintenance. The SDX 250 offers MerCruiser power options up to a MerCruiser 6.2L 350hp Bravo III with Digital Throttle and Shift.

The innovative transom configuration preserves cockpit space when the lounge seat is in its forward facing aft position, and also converts to a generous aft facing seat over the swim platform and on the SDX 250 Outboard, the sliding transom seat enables maximum space to enjoy the swim platform at rest. This “no trade-offs” design means the high- performance Mercury Verado® outboard engine fits seamlessly into the swim platform layout without interrupting water interaction.

A new metallic hull side color options and plush, stylish upholstery

Premium Sea Ray aesthetics include an array of head-turning new metallic hull side color options and plush, stylish upholstery. Two new and comprehensive package options are also available: the Silver Package adds the Mercury Marine® Active Trim system with hydraulic trim tabs, as well as a quick-disconnect fender clip system and SeaDek® swim platform matting. The Platinum Package adds a bow filler cushion, a premier stereo upgrade, a cockpit refrigerator, a fiberglass bow table, and lighting upgrades throughout. Additional options include a forward facing and folding tower with integral bimini top, available with without wakeboard racks.
